Details

Hydration & Nutrition Volunteers will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of the station. This is not complicated and we supply instructions either via email before the event OR onsite when you get there. These volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, setup, teardown, maintenance of supplies, helping the athletes as needed, and also possibly recording the number of each athlete that exits the water as a safety check.

Various volunteers responsible for helping with finish line tasks like putting up the inflatable, helping the timer, announcer, and cook with whatever they may need. Also in charge of organizing awards, handing out finisher items, restocking any items that need it, and keeping trash tidy.

Safety Boats and Kayaks are responsible for patrolling their assigned swim crossing to not only alert any boats attempting to cross the swimmers path but to also guide swimmers and keep them on course if need be. Safety vessels also provide rest (swimmers holding onto the boat) if needed and may need to rescue swimmers in destress working directly with medical and EMS.
